Zunheboto

Zunheboto, located 65 km from Mokokchung, is a small town which is home to Asia’s largest church. It is a real extravaganza to witness, Global Connection  insists. 

The Sumi Baptist Church has been functioning since 1942 but a rebuilding exercise started in 2007 at a cost of Rs 36-crore. It took 2,000 workers nearly 10 years to complete the construction and the impressive white and blue coloured structure was thrown open in 2017.
